Rejuvenation
Pulsed light therapy at
the 590 nm wavelength penetrates deep
into the subcutaneous layers stimulating
cellular turnover and new collagen.
Visible light generates more external
tissue layers thus producing high
amounts of ROS (Radical Oxygen Singlet)
destroying old collagen fibers while
encouraging the formation of new ones.
At deeper levels of light penetration
ROS is still produced thus stimulating
fibroblasts proliferation.
Vascular
and Pigmented Lesions
Med Flash™ I IPL
wavelengths are very suitable for
treating pigmented lesions such as age
spots. At wavelengths between 530nm and
600 nm oxyhemoglobin is stimulated to
absorb higher amounts of energy that
cause the collapse of vessels.
